1. How long are the games?
Games are 5 minutes or first to 2 goals—whichever comes first.
2. How does “winner stays” work?
The winning team stays on the field for the next match. Challengers line up to play next. If a team ties after time runs out, both teams rotate off.
3. How many players per team?
Five players on the field: four field players + one keeper.
4. Do I need a full team to join?
Nope! Solo players and small groups are welcome. You form the team based on players that are sitting or getting players from the losing team.
5. Is there an age requirement?
Typically 16+ or 18+ depending on the players.
6. What type of field is it played on?
5v5 turf field with boards. No metal cleats.
7. Are slide tackles allowed?
No slide tackles for safety. Play stays fast and friendly.
8. Are there referees?
Most pick-up nights are self-reffed, but staff organizers may step in if needed.
9. What happens if too many players show up?
We run a rotation system to keep games flowing. Everyone gets plenty of games.
10. Do I need to pre-register?
Optional. Walk-ins are welcome, but signing up guarantees your spot.
12. What should I bring?
Turf shoes, flats or molded cleats, water, shin guards (recommended), and a good attitude.
