Warm Welcome: Coaches will introduce themselves and help players feel comfortable and included right away. Expect smiles, high-fives, and a team-first vibe.

Basic Skills & Fun Drills: The focus will be on learning and having fun. Players will go through simple, age-appropriate drills like dribbling, passing, and shooting—no pressure, just play!

Lots of Movement: Expect short activities that keep kids active, moving, and engaged—think obstacle courses, games, and soccer-themed challenges.

Small-Sided Games: Towards the end of practice, players often break into small groups for friendly scrimmages to apply what they’ve learned.

Positive Coaching: Coaches will be encouraging, supportive, and focused on building confidence over competition.

Comfortable athletic clothes – a t-shirt and shorts or athletic pants are perfect.

Soccer cleats or athletic shoes – cleats are best for turf or grass, but sneakers work fine for beginners.

Shin guards – recommended for safety and often required once scrimmages begin.

Soccer socks – long socks to cover shin guards (if used).

No food, gum, or drinks on the turf (water only is allowed).

🚫 No metal cleats – use turf shoes or molded rubber cleats only.

🗑️ No trash on the field – please use the bins provided.

🐾 No pets allowed on the turf (even the cute ones).

🛑 No hanging on goals or nets – they can tip or break.

🚷 No glass containers anywhere near the field.

🚭 No smoking or vaping on or around the turf.
